If ever a car could epitomise the meaning of the word "iconic", then surely it would be the S197 version of the Shelby GT500. Its appearance shouts "heritage" - evoking muscle car era memories, while still appealing to 21st century tastes. "Under the hood" an advanced Smart Junction Box (SJB) controls all the power & electronics for lighting, body and security systems.

What a shame then, to defile its silouhette with cheap bolt ons and poorly conceived changes risking the longevity of the SJB, just to satisfy UK regulatory requirements.
