Positioned as the ultimate Skyline model, the first GT-R (PGC-10) was introduced in February 1969. GT-R has enjoyed an illustrious career as Nissan's "hyperformance" flagship model. The launch of the R32 model in 1989 saw the GT-R version adopt twin turbos to help the 2.6 litre "RB26" series straight six generate a genuine 320 bhp. With this engine (that was claimed to have been designed to support a streetable 1500 horse-power!) was born the legend that has built up around the name "Skyline" and especially "GT-R"...
The latest version further enhances that mystique, with its high revving VR38 3.8 litre DOHC 24 valve twin-turbo V6 belting out an astonishing 480 bhp and 430 lb-ft in the 2009 all-wheel-drive model, whilst meeting the California Air Resource Board's strictest Ultra-Low Emissions Vehicle standards.
Legends of such mythological proportions deserve nothing less than the very best Light System Modification. Enter our super-advanced state-of-the-art solution for Nissan's hyper-car.
Developed by Teslayn Engineering's R & D Labs, the solid state system provides for a sophisticated, virtually invisible integration of neccessary changes. All of which exceed the statutory requirements of IVA and add extra functionality, while enhancing the car's style.
See for yourself here, just how effective they really are!
