Importing a vehicle from North America is not rocket science.
BUT (there's always one of those isn't there!), it is a many stepped procedure fraught with hidden pitfalls just waiting to claim the inexperienced. Even if you travel frequently to the United States or Canada, (whether for pleasure or business) so that you are on hand to complete a purchase, you will still lack the required knowledge that comes with many years of experience. Have you given consideration to the resources - and most importantly - the time needed to manage such a project for a relatively smooth trouble free result? It is our experience, that about one in ten private imports are reasonably trouble free. Even fewer individuals will experience such ease more than once. Unfortunately, the overwhelming number of difficulties relate to vehicle damage, misdescription and component theft.
